Dark Peach Coloured Suf Embroidered Stole in Khadi Cotton
Suf Embroidery, practiced by the Sodha Rajput and Meghwar communities, is a form of emroidery where work begins on the reverse side of the cloth, counting warp and weft threads, stitches are then taken in between to create precise angular patterns.
Traditionally all Suf embroidery begins with a triangle, also the source of its name.Only women in their younger years practice this form of embroidery as the craft requires a sharp eyesight and nimble hands. This exquisite Suf Stole has been hand embroidered on hand spun and handwoven Kala Cotton (organic indigenous variety from India) fabric and is made by a master artisan.
