Return Policy


The following document is an electronic record of our return policy.

A. Definition of Return:

Return is defined as the giving back of the product by you to us.

B. Replacement:

Replacement is defined as the replacement of a returned product by another product of substantially similar description.

C. Eligibility for Returns:

The return policy for each product is specified on the product page. Many of our products are sold as ‘Final Sale’ and for such products all sales are treated as final and return requests will not be accepted. Products sold on a “clearance” basis are also not eligible for return. Please ensure that you understand whether your product is eligible for return before you place an order. For other products, you are usually eligible to return a product if you have received it in a damaged, defective or not-as-described state, or if the product you have received is not the one you ordered.

D. Returns Process:

You must initiate a return request within 5 days from the time of delivery, using the Order Number which was issued when you placed the order. A return request may be initiated by email / telephone (contact@indiakala.com / +91-9689898539), and you must specify one of the following Reasons for Return:

(1) Product received in a damaged condition.

(2) Product defective; please specify the nature of the defect in detail.

(3) Product not-as-described; please specify the discrepancy. (For example, the product received is a different size from the size specified at the time of placing the order.)

(4) Wrong product received

(5) Did not like the product

To process your return request you will either

a. Need to ship the product, at your own cost, in the same condition in which you received it, including price tags, labels, original packing, invoice, barcodes and any free items and / or accessories which were included in the package you received, to the following address: D-712, Sai Jyote Apartments, Lallubhai Park, Andheri West, Mumbai-400056 or

b. Notify us via email / phone to arrange for a reverse pick up (if possible) from the address of the delivery of the product and we will do the needful. Please note that Rs. 100 (for orders in India) will be deducted as reverse pick up service charges. We will also not refund the COD charges in case of returns as these are cash handling charges that the courier company charges us. For International orders, the customer has to send us back the product and we will then initiate refund via PayPal.

Please pack the product safely to ensure against damage in transit and clearly specify the Order Number on the package.

After we receive the returned product, we will inspect it, and thereafter, at our sole discretion, we will initiate a refund or replacement. 

For returned orders, your entire order amount (minus the reverse pick up service charge if applicable) will be refunded within 7 business days of us receiving the returned product. The order amount will be refunded to the payment mode / account that was originally used by you when placing the order. We shall confirm by email that we have processed your refund. However, it may take the respective banks up to 7-10 business days to process the refund and credit the amount to you; please get in touch with your bank directly in case of any delays after receiving our emailed confirmation.

E. Rejection of Return Requests:

Even if a product is eligible for return, we will usually reject return requests, or choose not to initiate a refund or replacement, in the following scenarios:

(1) The return request is initiated more than 7 days after the time of delivery.

(2) The product or the packaging or any free items and / or accessories have been used or altered or soiled or damaged in any way after you received delivery, or are not in the same condition in which you received them.

(3) The product is returned by you without any of the following: price tags, labels, original packing, invoice, any free items, any accessories or other items which were originally included in the package you received.

(4) The product has been worn (other than for trial), washed or ironed, in the case of any clothing or footwear product.

(5) The product has been opened, in the case of any beauty, health and personal care products.

G. Fraudulent Returns:

If we have any suspicion or knowledge, that you are involved in any activity that is intended to submit to us claims that are false, misleading or not genuine, or any information which is false, misleading or incomplete, then, while reserving our rights to initiate civil and/or criminal proceedings against you, we may also at our sole discretion suspend, block, restrict, cancel your access to our Website.
