Ajrakh is a hand block printing and dyeing tradition practiced by Khatri artisans of Kutch. Artisans print using hand carved wooden blocks and dye fabric in vats, to layer motif and colour over several days to craft richly hued patterned textiles. By applying age-old wisdom, and working with natural resources, Ajrakh textiles are a testament to sustainable practices in textile making.
This elegant Indigo coloured Ajrakh top with gathers and bishop sleeves in cotton fabric has been hand block printed by master artisans and has traditional motifs. The model is wearing a size S and is 5 7" in height.
